About the Author:
The author is an educator, an
experienced teacher, teacher trainer, school reviewer, and curriculum content
developer with exposure working with students and teachers in India. Her hobby
is writing short stories, articles, and poetry.
About the Book:
We mainly considered intelligence as
an individual's mental powers. It is mostly measured by conducting IQ tests,
and exams, etc. But the author wants teachers/parents to understand their
child's intelligence by what interests them.
The book is divided into two
sections:
1) To understand your kids'
interests and intelligence.
2) To be available in the present
with your kid. (expressed via poetry)
Each child is born with a unique set
of qualities. They’re born with multiple intelligence depending on their home
and school environment. The most powerful organ of the human body is the Brain
if someone exercises it properly. Kids enjoy what interests them the most. And
they excel in the same. The author has also explained many terms like the
philosopher, the questionnaire, the more introvert, the visualizer, the mover,
and the music lover, etc.
The 7th class kids have expressed themselves in
their diaries about what they love and enjoy the most. In the book, the kids
have explained what makes them happy during school hours.
There are a few exercises at the end
of each chapter. Each exercise helps you to identify what your kid must do to
enhance the skill. You can expect a few renowned names of those personalities
who have got an interest in a particular category.
There is an infinite number of skills
but not everyone excels at everything. It's better to pick up a skill and
become better at it. The basic skills are communication, solving,
creativity, imagination, and perception, etc.
